This program provides financial support to projects of a non-technical nature that are directed at accelerating the awareness of the micro/nanotechnology industrial revolution and the commercial opportunities it offers to the micro/nanotechnology community or to the existing business community at large. These projects can include but are not limited to: technical or commercialization conferences/workshops, training courses, career development programs, public awareness seminars, etc.
Funded projects are expected to strengthen the community of practice in Alberta's MNT research and industrial cluster. Projects should develop HQP, encourage collaboration between entities inside and outside the province, celebrate success and reinforce Alberta's position in nanotechnology.
Organizers interested in the possibility of support are invited to book an appointment with the initiative director before submitting a proposal.
